A hand-knotted rug cannot be treated the way a baseboard can. We find every infested piece, treat the harbourage and the voids where larvae pupate, and monitor to confirm it is finished — without harming pile, dye or backing. Ahmad came in less than two hours when we suspected we had a bed bug and he was very thorough in his inspection. Highly recommend for timely/urgent issues!
I actually agreed about pest solution service which quoted me $25 less money then Ahmed did, however Ahmed's confidence in his craft over the phone impressed me so much that the business is his, and he didn't disappoint. He is a master of his craft indeed, his background and knowledge in chemistry makes him stand out among other pest control business'.
Ahmed is the top expert in pest control. He went out of his way to meet me outside of his typical service area, and gave me the opportunity to work alongside him. The big difference with his pest company is that they find points of entry, seal these points so pests can no longer enter, and exterminate the pests that are already occupying your space. They also make sure to explain everything and are welcoming to any questions or concerns you might have. Definitely keeping Promax on speed dial just in case, they are reliable and efficient in what they do!
Great service and value! Ahmed assisted us with extermination of roaches today and he was wonderful to work with. He answered our phone call in a very timely matter and immediately set up an appointment a few days later. I appreciated that he asked us questions about our roach situation to make sure we received the appropriate level of care. Upon arrival, Ahmed went above and beyond to ensure our pest situation was under control. He went the extra mile to explain what he was doing any why he was doing it. We had a few very curious kids on site and he was very kind to them while cautioning them against touching the pest spray. Overall, I absolutely recommend his services to anyone. Seriously, look no further. I thought all 5 stars?? Must be too good to be true. I was wrong, this service met and exceeded my expectations. Ahmed is thorough, professional, fair, attentive to your needs and incredibly kind. I was disappointed that the place I moved into had fleas, but Ahmed took care of this thoroughly and put my mind at ease. He was very attentive, communicative and did such a great job. His quotes were very fair and he takes great pride in his work. After conversing with Ahmed it was evident that he deeply understands the science behind pest management. Highly recommended and would for sure use this service again!
Ahmed was very professional and responsive. I called him for treatment at my parents tenants basement, and he came promptly (Same day) and explained everything thoroughly to my mother and I (via the phone because I was not able to be present). Do I have to sign a contract?
No. We do not do contracts, annual plans, quarterly programmes or auto-renewals. Every visit is booked on its own, as and when you need it. If you never call us again, nothing happens — there is nothing to cancel.
How does pricing work?
We price the job before we do the job. We come and look at what you actually have, tell you what the work will cost, and you decide from there. Nothing begins until the price is agreed, so you are never handed a figure after the fact.
Do you treat moths in rugs, clothing and upholstery?
Yes — it is what we are best known for. We work with designers and rug wholesalers across Chicago on clothes moths in wool, silk, cashmere, fur and hand-knotted rugs, and we are the number one moth service in the neighbourhoods we cover. We treat the piece and the room it lives in without damaging pile, dye or backing.
Are your treatments safe for children and pets?
Yes. We lead with organic solutions and Integrated Pest Management, and we use safe treatments in schools, daycares, hospitals and restaurants. Tell us about children, pets or anyone with respiratory sensitivities and we will plan the treatment around them.
What is Integrated Pest Management?
IPM is an effective, environmentally friendly approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices beyond pesticides — inspection, identification, exclusion, sanitation and monitoring, with targeted treatment where it is genuinely needed rather than blanket spraying.
Do you work with businesses as well as homes?
Both. We handle residential and commercial pest management, including restaurants, bars, offices, retail, schools and daycares. Commercial work is scheduled around your trading hours, and it is still booked as needed rather than on a service agreement.
